Keltic Seafoods Cold Storage Plant

Keltic Seafoods operates a large Cold Storage plant.  As well as boxing and freezing fish for customers we also freeze and store bait for fishermen.  The manager can be reached at 250-949-7355.

Keltic is buying Turbot, Pollock and Hake

Keltic is buying and processing Dogfish, Turbot, Pollock and Hake. As our company continues on it's planned growth, we are starting to buy and sell under utilized species that have not been targeted by other fish processors. As a custom fish processor, we insure we do not compete with our clients for product. Dogfish, Turbot, Pollock and Hake are a low margin product that requires high volume production and due to the perishable nature, require a plant that is in close proximity to the fishing grounds. These factors have limited the harvesting by other fish processors and is an ideal product for Keltic Seafoods.  Our plant is in close proximity to the fish.

Keltic has a waste reduction facility.

In our efforts to fully utilize the fish processed at our plant, we have built an offal reduction plant where we turn the waste into valuable fish meal and fish oil.  No part of the fish is wasted, what is not shipped for human consumption is turned into meal and oil.  The fish meal and fish oil are used in animal feeds. 

Keltic has job openings
